What's new at SS A-Latte
Life is good at Stamp & Scrap A-Latte. For all of you who visit our shop, we hope we make you feel at home. It was a dream of mine to create a place filled with pretty papers, beautiful stamps, colorful inks and loads of goodies. The supplies all came in and were arranged in their place, but we knew we needed one more thing to make it complete. Then on August 15, 2008 we opened up the doors and people came through, filling the shop with their smiles and kindness. That was the moment that I knew dreams could come true. All I can say is, thanks a-latte from the bottom of my heart.
You may remember the cards I made last year with these dies. I will post last years as well as what I did with the same dies for this year. "Peace" is also from Impression Obsession. I have all of these in stock now as well as the gorgeous black and gold mirricard paper. The pic looks good, but so much prettier in person, for sure. Hope you get to stop in and see for yourself.
These beautiful dies cut GREAT! We have a few samples in the store to show you. I know they will not last long. The average size die is 3 1/2 x 4 ish. They are priced no higher than $14.25!!!
Finished this one too, and forgot to post it Friday. I have another elf one that is almost done. I will post it soon. Then onto my next themed Christmas Cards for 2016! You may not be able to see, but the "frame" is stitched and it comes with those two cutout areas. I ran this die, from My Favorite Things Design, once through my Cuttlebug and it cut and perforated together. It fits perfect on an A2 card.... no measuring!
Last year I started making Christmas cards in July and finished my 12th card right after Thanksgiving. This year I plan on doing the same. I know I got a head start... LOL .... But couldn't resist this cute set of clear stamps from My Favorite Things. First time using their stitched snow drift dies..... LOVE them! The images inked up well & I colored them with Copic markers. I also used the matching dies, to make it easier. Take a look..... Hope you like it!
Thank you Katherine for showing us how to make these beautiful paper flowers! And a big Thank you too to everyone who stopped by today. It was nice to see so many smiling faces! Now I want to see how your flowers turn out! Get busy ladies and spritz, spritz spritz...chop, chop, chop ...... LOL .....

Today I demoed how to use Dreamweaver Embossing Paste. Later on in the afternoon I decided to finish the owl I started from a previous demo. I used Elizabeth Crafts Peel Offs (owl set) and Twinkling H2O's. I know...weird colors..... LOL ......but it was fun to color!
So I finished my demo of glitter paste & sprays and decided to have lunch while waiting for it to dry. Then that darn Crazy Bird was singing "pick me, pick me, pick me....." So, I did!
Turned out cute!
