Five days and we set sail on RCCL Jewel of the Sea for our first stamping cruise.We depart Monday, January 16,2012. While we are away, the store will be closed for a couple of days.

Sunday-Wednesday (1/15-1/18). So, if you need to get your

weekly ink fix, remember.....

Vonnie will be back in the shop on Thursday, January 19 at 10:00am to finish out the week with our normal store hours.

Give her a call or stop in if you need anything.

I love setting goals and working towards them.

New Copic Classes

October 15, 2011 is our first Copic Class with
Wendy Ramlakhan. We can't wait to have her in our shop to teach you the art of coloring with your Copic Markers. I think you'll agree she is awesome. We're having a beginner class in the morning and an advance class in the afternoon. The afternoon class focuses on skin tones,shadows and more shading. She is here for a limited number of classes. She is repeating these classes on Thursday, November 3 for those that can't make the October 15 class. Seating is limited, so sign up early.

This weekend is the big move for the store. We'll be closed Saturday-Tuesday, (Aug. 27-30). Beginning Wednesday, August 31, you'll find us in our new location. Remember, it's in the same parking lot, but in the last building heading north. Look for the green roof.In the background is a Denney's billboard. I'm not sure if our new sign will be up next week, but you never know.

We're Moving Nearby

Yes, it's true, we are moving to another location. It's within walking distance to where we are now, comes with ceiling fans, new carpet, new fresh paint that I got to pick out, and it's the same size store.

We'll directly face Hwy. #19. It's so nice and once the sign on the roof is up, you won't be able to miss it and.....did I say we face Hwy. #19......? oh yeah...I get to see some cars moving up and down the road instead of my usual view...the cement wall.....

We'll be in the new place on August 31. In the mean time we stay open and life goes on as usual at Stamp & Scrap A-Latte.....

Shop Hop Saturday

Well, it's Christmas in July at Stamp & Scrap A-Latte. All of our classes have a Christmas theme this month. If you miss out on any classes, we'll repeat most of them starting October.
In the mean time we need a Christmas party. So, this Saturday, July 23, 2011 we're going to have a little celebration. Two other local stores will play a part in this, too. Any time between 10:00-6:00 stop by the store and get 10% off your entire purchase, including clearance items. We'll have some light refreshments and a demo going on from Noon-2:00. You can also make a quick holiday card for only $1.00, cash of course. When you make your purchase, I'll give you a red card with a SS A-Latte stamp on it. Take that card to the other 2 stores and with each purchase, they will stamp your card too. If you go to all 3 stores, turn in your card at any of the 3 shops and you may win a prize. First and second prize is a gift card for each store.How easy and fun is that.

Stamp & Scrap A-Latte Cruise-January 16-21, 2012

We are getting ready for our first stamping cruise on board Royal Carribean. We set sail on January 16, 2012 and return Saturday, January 21. Daisy and I got our passports last week and now we are pumped and busy organizing this trip. I'll touch base with all guests sometime in October. We did sell out quickly and I hope all that wanted to go, got in for this trip. If not, we'll do it again in January 2013!
